11/27/2024: Autumn's Piggy

It's Thanksgivings in America tomorrow and November is closing for

the next winter month. I'm glad I was able to squeeze in this picture

before Autumn's closing. and for thy yankoronis to enjoy some oinks with

thy pumpkin pies. Been cold over here and the wood critters are fat.

Ironic is that I didn't go outside that much this year. Next time I'll

change that. Here's wishing ya'll a hearty thanksgiving and rest of

November for the rest of the world out there. I did this piggy after

seeing one on a forum with a cat riding on him and thought to draw

a cute pig picture. Tbh the cat was kept only to make the composition

feel less empty. Lot's of trial and error. I think it turned out acceptable

atlease, it was fun adding tiny details like the flowing leaves and simple

hotair ballons to make feel more an energetic feeling. Hopefully now I can

be more casual now and just hangout by a fireplace, even if it has to be an

hobo's one down by an abandoned farm. atlease the cow's fiddle shreading will keep

the party warm and lively while we eat our Turkey and pumpkin pies with those

Brussels sprouts. (did you know Brussels is a region in Belgium and

are related genetically to cabbage?) any whoo happy fall and Thanksgiving!

btw below is the speed painting featuring a quick and slightly modified/Plunderphonics

(Flickering and flashing screen warning.)

version of The Depreciation Guild's song "November"

It's a good song but I mostly picked it due to the tittle. Check out the band.

The chaps only made 2-3 albumns but are glorious mixes of chiptune and shoegaze!

Hoped you have enjoyed the painting and video and happy Thanksgivings and Autumn, stay warm thou dudez!

Winter's coming to nip thee!

Since September and October are in the action of trading places

I thought of trying to do some art to get into that Fall of leaves mood

did this while out visiting family on my android tablet and completed this on my main PC

via rebelle.

Not the most realistic piece but I wanted to do something casual and I needed to do something quick

Just to stay modivated and to do some art studies in general. I am just glad I drew a pumpkin.

I think it turned out okay. I was listening to some blue grass and fiddle music

Was trying to do something energetic and vivid. Bright colors with the earth tones

Might need to work on my colour temps as a skill. But eh It turned out well enought to be fun to look at

Fall to me is always about mellowing out and waiting for thanksgiving to usher in

the end of the year with December, and grey skies soothes the soul as you relax

with spiced treats and coffee, this year I got a crap ton of pumpkin spiced chai tea

All I need is a pumpkin doughnut to make it really feel like fall while I look at the pretty

temperate area on this spinning marble of plants.

btw I randomly recorded me working on the pumpkin when I got home to finish the pic so here we go! VVVV

The music too help set me in the mood. Funny there were some euphemisms in one album;

I would say it almost was a pg-13 rating of an album but the euphenism was

subtle enough that parents wouldn't care I guess?

like "The rooster made the cow make eggnog after they went behind the shed."

and "I'm my own grandfather and my mother is my cousin somehow!"

That album had really pleasant mellow singing too with that lively bluegrass instrumentals.

Anyhows that's all the finger rambling that I'll do on my keyboard. Hope yall a good autumn!

The Arts

Is where we start from here...

Here is a randomly picked art piece as my first photo. Nothing spectacular,

Just wanted to boot myself to actually start showing my art.

(Next I need to do music, That might be a little later as I'm working on an album though.)

I try to study face anatomy. I know the eye furthest away from the camera is whonky

but eh, I can't be hauling my bum back to my tablet to fix a month old mistake

besides I'll get better at it later. Something about faces that make me want to just

overcome along with hands, I feel that if you can do hands and heads, the two H's will

propel one towards better grips into conjuring up images with one's one brush or pen.

I'll be posting far more colorful pics soon though. Sketching in blanc et noir really just

helps with understanding values. Glad I was able to add four colours into the mix though

Hope you all a good day! See ya!!
